Rene Perez

Rene Perez is an Associate at Ringgenberg Law Firm, where he focuses on transactional and corporate matters. Rene graduated from UC Hastings School of Law in May of 2021. He is admitted to the State Bar of California.

Before joining Ringgenberg Law Firm, Rene externed for the Hon. Peter J. Siggins, Presiding Justice of the First District Court of Appeal, Division Three, in San Francisco. Rene also externed at The Clorox Company where he gained valuable in-house experience in the relationships between companies and their lawyers.

During his time at UC Hastings, Rene worked at the Social Enterprise and Economic Empowerment Clinic where he developed a limited scope representation program to provide underrepresented entrepreneurs access to legal counsel. He also served on the board of the Latino students association and was a member of the National Lawyer’s Guild, the First Generation Professionals Association, and the Hastings Business Law Society. Rene served as a Sack Teaching Fellow for Criminal Law, a Tutor for Contract Law, and a Teaching Assistant for Business Associations. He was also a senior staff editor of the UC Hastings Journal of Race and Poverty.

Before pursuing law, Rene was in a band that toured 5 continents and opened for artists like Lionel Ritchie, Mac DeMarco, and others. In his free time, he enjoys reading postmodern detective fiction.
