Ringgenberg Law Firm PC Names New Partners
Hannah Strassburger and Tim McMahon promoted to Partner
[Oakland, CA – January 27, 2021] – Ringgenberg Law Firm PC is proud to announce the promotion of Hannah Strassburger and Tim McMahon to the position of Partner. The firm’s founder and managing partner, Kieran Ringgenberg, expresses his excitement with the move, saying ” Hannah and Tim are each exceptional lawyers, and together we will continue to grow our firm to serve the needs of our clients as California’s cannabis industry, and the nation’s hemp industry matures, consolidates, and becomes more sophisticated.”
Hannah Strassburger was the firm’s first associate and, since the beginning of California’s regulated cannabis system, has assisted the firm’s California cannabis clients on state and local licensing and regulatory matters. Moreover, as one of the nation’s leading experts on regulatory compliance for hemp-based CBD products, Hannah advises several leading distributors and manufacturers on regulations at the federal level, as well as the emerging patchwork of state regulatory systems. Hannah also leads the firm’s trademark practice, assisting clients in the cannabis and hemp industries develop and execute brand protection strategies. Hannah earned her law degree at the Georgetown University Law Center and her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Tim McMahon leads the firm’s transactional practice, where he assists clients in negotiating and documenting important commercial agreements and major transactions. He has led negotiations for some of the state’s largest and most successful cannabis operators in commercial relationships, including mission-critical manufacturing and distribution agreements. His transactional experience includes mergers and acquisitions activity involving licensed cannabis operators, as well as joint ventures, and corporate structuring of complex organizations in the cannabis space. Tim brings to bear his deep experience in the clean energy industry, including over ten years as both internal and external counsel. He recently rejoined the firm after time at Bloom Energy. Tim received his law degree from UC Berkeley School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
